This rod features our own custom turned fore grip, with burl cork accent rings. The extra length makes it a very capable rod for larger streams and rivers, as well as lake and pond trout fishing. The faster action of this rod makes it great for jigging with those micro jigs that are so effective for all trout. The little extra length helps control drifts on larger streams, and there is just enough flex in the tip to make it a good live bait rod too!
