Thanks so much Phil and Terry - and Happy Birthday Phil!

I want to say a huge thanks to my two guides for yesterday - Phil Schweik and Terry Waldvogel.  Great people to just hang out with, and they know how to put fish in the boat!  I didn't bother counting, but the volume of fish was AMAZING!  And they gave our new custom plastics a great field test!  The 3.5'' Curly Crawler caught fish when used, but the 3.5'' Drop Shiner just clobbered them.  Best colors yesterday were perch fry, silver shiner, and electric purple. https://www.elkrivercustomrods.com/collections/jig-shots-custom-plastics Thanks so much Phil and Terry - and Happy Birthday Phil!!

NEW Silver Series 6'6" Med-Lite Moderate-Fast - it's an Excellent Finesse Rod!

Took a little trip to find open water yesterday as locally things are icing up pretty good. Walleyes were still cooperating - this one came on a drop shot rig and live minnow. I got to fish our new Silver Series 6'6" Med-Lite Moderate-Fast and it's an excellent finesse rod! It should be on the website later this week, and is a unique rod that would make a great Christmas gift. Have a great day all!
